Ra.One is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in double roles and Arjun Rampal as the titular antagonist, with Kareena Kapoor, Armaan Verma, Shahana Goswami, Tom Wu, Dalip Tahil and Satish Shah in supporting roles. The script, written by Sinha and Kanika Dhillon, originated as an idea that Sinha got when he saw a television commercial and which he subsequently expanded. The film follows Shekhar Subramanium (Khan), a game designer who creates a motion sensor-based game with an immensely powerful virtual character Designed to be more potent than the game's protagonist G.One (also portrayed by Khan), Ra.One serves as the antagonist. The former escapes from the game's virtual world and enters the real world; his aim is to kill Lucifer, the game ID of Shekhar's son and the only player to have challenged Ra.One's power. Relentlessly pursued, the family is forced to bring out G.One from the virtual world to defeat Ra.One and protect them.
In 2011, London, Jenny Nair, an employee of UK-based company Barron Industries, introduces a new technology that allows objects from the digital world to enter the real world using the wireless transmissions from multiple devices. Shekhar Subramanium, who also works for the company, is given a final chance to devise with a video game with a difference. To impress his sceptical son Prateek, and upon the request of his wife Sonia, Subramanium uses his son's idea that the antagonist be more powerful than the protagonist.
Shekhar's colleague Akashi provides the moves of the game's characters, Jenny does the programming and Shekhar gives his face to the game's protagonist G.One, whilst the antagonist Ra.One is faceless and has substantially greater powers than those granted to G.One, including shapeshifting. Ra.One is imbibed with a self-learning artificial intelligence. The game has three levels, and either of the players can only be killed in the third level using a special gun that holds a single bullet. While designing the game, Akashi notices some malfunctions but ignores them. When the game is finally launched, it receives a standing ovation and Prateek loves it so much that he insists on playing it instantly. He logs in under the alias 'Lucifer' and proceeds to the second level, but is interrupted by Akashi. The self-aware Ra.One, being unable to end his turn with Lucifer, becomes determined that Lucifer shall die. When the mainframe fails to shut down, Akashi calls Shekhar, who notices a problem with the game. Ra.One uses the new technology to enter the real world and breaks free and goes to find Lucifer.
During Prateek's birthday party, Ra.One hypnotises Sonia, assumes her form and kidnaps Prateek. Ra.One then instructs G.One to give him his H.A.R.T. back, and sends the real Sonia in an uncontrollable Mumbai Suburban Railway train. G.One saves Sonia just in the nick of time (though the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is destroyed) and returns to save Prateek. The game resumes, with Prateek controlling G.One's moves. Following a lengthy fight, both of the characters reach the third level. With little power left, G.One and Prateek trick Ra.One into shooting G.One without his H.A.R.T. attached, which leaves Ra.One helpless. Furious, Ra.One creates ten copies of himself. Prateek, unable to differentiate the real Ra.One, asks G.One to quote one of Shekhar's sayings: "If you join the forces of evil, its shadows shall always follow you". The pair then realise that only one of the ten Ra.Ones has a shadow: the original one. G.One shoots and destroys him, and after absorbing Ra.One's remains, transports himself back into the digital world.
Additionally, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt appears in cameos as Desi Girl and Khal Nayak respectively. Suresh Menon appears as the Taxi-Driver and Delnaaz Irani as the school teacher aboard the hijacked train. Amitabh Bachchan provides the voiceover for the introduction sequence of the game 'Ra.One' in the film. The character Chitti, played by Rajinikanth, from Enthiran appears in the film. The character is computer-generated and not played by the actor himself.
Ra.One featured three major action sequences, which were filmed in sets and real locations across Mumbai and London. The cinematography borrowed ideas from video games, such as rapid transitions between first-person and third-person perspectives.[50] Procedures such as bullet time were also incorporated into the film.[62] The production design was closely associated with the lighting and cinematography to facilitate smooth filming.[50] However, filming faced a number of difficulties including increasing costs, delays and safety constraints.[47] In addition, differences between Khan and Sinha caused tensions on the sets.[51]
The film's marketing utilised merchandise and games to facilitate the creation of a franchise.[103] Khan marketed merchandise related to the film,[104] which included toys, tablets and apparel.[105] On 14 October 2011, a gaming tournament featuring games like Call of Duty was conducted in Mumbai and telecast live on YouTube.[106]

RA.ONE - THE GAME is an interactive entertainment piece modeled after the Bollywood superhero blockbuster, RA.ONE, that debuted in 2011. The game was crafted by Trine Games, game developers from Bollywood, and launched by Sony Computer Entertainment.
Within this captivating gameplay universe, participants are in charge of the central character, G.One, and engage in epic battles against the antagonist, Ra.One, in various engaging stages and game modes. Both solitary and multi-player modes are available, and the game integrates several elements of the film's narrative and characters.
The game garnered mixed reviews, with some appraising its visuals and presentation, while others chastised its monotonous gameplay and lack of originality. Nevertheless, it stands as a remarkable contribution to the Bollywood gaming industry and an essential experience for followers of the film and its cast.
The glitzy launch event in Mumbai went ahead to showcase the strong linkages between the actual movie and the game; both in terms of storyline as well as the looks of the key characters of Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal. The game was launched in true Bollywood style and interestingly brought out the connections between the film and the game.
With all the above firsts, what makes the game uniquely interesting is to see the favorite Bollywood personalities come alive in a digital avatar so true to life on the PlayStation platform. This also showcased the seriousness put behind the full cycle game which is quite contrary to the promotional digital games we have become habituated to see with several Bollywood movies.
This marks an important milestone for the Indian entertainment industry. The Indian film industry can now embark upon a win-win business model with the game development industry to tap the predominantly young audience of India.
Ra.One: The Game is an action game that features characters from the 2011 Indian science fiction superhero film Ra.One. It is a prequel to the movie and has many characters from it. There are eleven playable characters that fight one-on-one or one against many in 20 3D arenas. They fights by combining melee attacks into combos, but can also use ranged weapons. The environment can be used in various ways and there are height differences. There are three game modes: Story mode, Brawl mode and Challenge mode. Multiplayer is supported for up to four players.
Although the plot exists in the game, its presentation is a lot more convoluted and difficult to follow in this context. It alarmingly feels like the developers were making the game with an assumption that every potential player has seen the movie. Even if its slightly justified, the way it is executed leaves massive room for improvements.
The presence of optional characters is reminiscent of Ben 10: Protector of Earth on the PSP consoles. However, that game definitely provided a larger variety of playable characters with diverse abilities.
It is interesting to note that in Hollywood, the trend is to release a film's game version after the successful run of in theaters (Harry Potter, The Matrix Trilogy, every Hollywood action franchise ever)

Now, imagine a dorky combination of Mario and Contra aesthetics. Now throw in a plastic-like side portrait of Krrish hopping over obstacles and kicking bad guys. That's the video game adaption of "India's answer to ET".
The shoddy amateurish quake ality makes sense when you consider that it's a fan-made game. the Krrish Game Cheats that promise "Krrish Health Unlimited with Unlimited Super Power Attacks" is almost adorable. 041b061a72
